A New Direction at John Darke Ltd

At John Darke Ltd we believe that customer is King and that good service is the key to our business. However, sometimes changes are necessary in business to continue and grow. In order to do this we have changed direction at our dealership in Louth.

We have slowly evolved from being solely Volvo new and used to including a mixture of other makes of used cars which are selected from part exchanges taken in from Lincoln as well as Louth. These tend to be cars with low mileage and a good service history. Earlier this year we were offered the opportunity to add to this by becoming a Ford Retail Dealer. In the last few months we have been preparing to facilitate this change by training staff, both sales and service, acquiring the necessary equipment and refurbishing the showroom. The Ford dealership will give us a range of small cars and light commercial vehicles with which we have not been able to compete in the past. Ford has restyled their range of cars and their quality and reliability now allows them to compare with the best.

We are remaining with Volvo but the new cars will be sourced from our Lincoln branch. In Louth we are still Volvo authorised to carry out services, repairs, including bodyshop work, and supply parts. Demos of Volvos can still be arranged and, collected from our Louth branch.

We have a new man at John Darke Ltd, Mike Watson, who heads the sales department. Whilst he is new to John Darke Ltd, his experience spans nearly thirty years within the motor industry with a close involvement of buying and selling all makes and models. His ethos is "giving customers the best service in town."
